Half elves are the second largest population in The World.

Half elves originated between elven and human parents, however any person with any portion of elven blood is considered a half elf.

In The World, there are many half elves that only have a portion of elven blood.

​

All of the half elves will also have an affinity for magic.

Half elves live amongst the humans and have the same lifespan as a regular human. Other than their biological makeup, they outwardly look the same as humans with slightly pointed ears.

Ironically, most people just think that having pointy ears is just a regular physical trait that some people have and others do not. Genetics have not been heavily researched, so most people just believe things like eye-color, hair color, and ear shape are random.

In The Academy, the only people studying magic are half-elves, though neither humans nor half elves know this.

Most half elves live their lives thinking they are just humans that can practice magic.
