Here's a blog for my work in progress of my future game project for this course.

I'm a recent graduate of McGill University, hoping for a change of pace with Pratt's Game Design program and I'm very excited to work on my first project. This is my first semester in the program and I'm really nervous about the learning curve but excited nonetheless! I'm a self-taught artist and have mostly worked with digital art and limited motion graphics knowledge from side hobbies.  With this project, I'm hoping to be able to create a fun game to channel some of my creativity into a project outside of the realm of my usual comfort zone! I look forward to tracking my progress here.

Whatever game I end up making for this semester, I really want to have something with queer representation! I think growing up, it isn't something I had in my childhood, and even now, media isn't always the best with it. I want have something fun that more groups of people can relate to and something I can look back on and be proud of creating. Because of this, whatever I create for this game, I might not be able to proudly share with everyone around me, but it will always be something close to my heart.
